It was originally launched in 2014. As of 2022, the SILVER Series now boasts blue lasers instead of red ones.
This Creaform portable 3D scanner uses blue laser triangulation technology to 3D scan a wide variety of mechanical parts, mockups, and prototypes. It casts 7 blue laser crosses in “Cross grid” mode, and a single blue laser beam in “Single beam” mode to capture complex details and deep pockets.
